Matt Bellamy acknowledged that as a young man in a tent at the Reading Festival
Muse frontman Matt Bellamy acknowledged that as a young man in a tent at the Reading Festival have learned the skills of your room.
Speaking to Q magazine, Matt said “Reading was definitely a place where a lot of my early sexual experiences were. I didn’t lose my virginity at Reading, I’d lost it just before. But I definitely followed through and learnt a bit more how to do it there.
“I’ve got some pretty unsavoury memories [there].“
Oh dear. The only serious bassist Chris Wolstenholme Muse camp this week has an alcohol problem which led to the “puking up blood” to tell the price is not.
He told Q, “I was actually losing my mind. I had to drink to get out of bed in the morning. It got to the point one Christmas morning where I was actually puking up blood.“
Maybe the aformentioned incident in December 2008 after the resignation of drinking, but now he sees how serious the problem becomes:
“My rational thought at that time was, ‘Oh I won’t drink spirits today, I’ll just drink beer.’ You just don’t think properly. You don’t really consider that you’re killing yourself … Or even if you do, you get to the point where you don’t care about anything anymore.“
Singer Matt said the rest of the band didn’t realise how serious Chris’ drinking was.
Matt said, “The thing with him is he’s such a good musician that his motor skills or something just aren’t affected“.
“So he would come in and play brilliantly and then we wouldn’t see him for a bit. We’d have a great gig and he’d go off to his room so we wouldn’t really know what was going on.“
